
PESHAWAR, September 20: Pakistan has won a hockey match against Sri Lanka in the Asian Games that have been under way in South Korea.
Pakistan won its first hockey match against Sri Lanka by 14-0 goals. From the Pakistani side, the captain Mr Muhammad Imran and Mr Umar Bhatta did 4 goals each.
The national team will play its second match against China on 21 September. A total of 9,500 players from 45 countries are participating in the Asian Games which will continue till 4 October. In total, 183 players from Pakistan are participating in various games during the event.
