PESHAWAR, September 24: Pakistan’s Women Cricket Team has beat Thailand couterparts in the Asian Games that have been underway in South Korea.

Initially a 20-over match was to be played in Incheon, but later it was limited to 14 overs due to rain.

In the match, Pakistani team scored 97 runs through five wickets while batting first. In response, the Thailand women team made 46 runs through seven wickets.

In Asian Games, Pakistan has won just one bronze medal so far, and that was won by Maratib Ali, a player of Wushu martial art.
