Peshawar: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has forecast hot and dry weather across most districts of the province today, with intense heat expected in the plain areas.

According to the PDMA, strong and dusty winds are likely to blow in the plains, prompting authorities to advise residents to take precautionary measures.

Officials said that maximum temperatures in Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, Bannu, Karak, and Lakki Marwat are expected to remain 3 to 5 degrees Celsius above normal, with temperatures likely to reach 44°C to 47°C in these districts.

Meanwhile, in the upper districts of Kohistan and Mansehra, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy, with chances of light rain accompanied by thunder at isolated locations.
