BATTAGRAM, July 3: Water from the Nandhiarh stream is posing threat to lives of local residents in Battagram district.
TNN correspondent says the vegetable and meat sellers have polluted the water channel by throwing waste material in it.
Many local residents use the water of the stream for drinking and other purposes.
However, several local people have expressed their apprehensions in this respect.
“All the hoteliers are nowadays discharging sanitary water and waste material into the stream, due to which the health of local people is at risk,” stated an area resident.
