The district administration in Peshawar has increased the price of roti by Rs. 5, setting the new price at Rs. 20 for a 125-gram roti. Previously, a 100-gram roti was sold for Rs. 15, and a 200-gram roti for Rs. 30.
Due to widespread public complaints about the frequent sale of double roti instead of single roti, the district administration decided to standardize the weight to 125 grams per roti. A notification regarding the new prices has also been issued by the administration.
