Six members of the same family were killed after a fire broke out in a residential house in the Tehkal Payan area of Peshawar, according to Rescue 1122. The victims included a husband, wife, and their four children.
Rescue 1122 said emergency teams reached the scene immediately after receiving the alert and brought the fire under control. During a search operation, the bodies of all six victims were recovered from one of the rooms in the house.
According to rescue officials, preliminary findings suggest the victims died due to the intense fire and suffocation caused by smoke.

The fire reportedly started in the house's hall, where furniture, foam, and other household items were stored, allowing the flames to spread rapidly.
Authorities said the cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and an investigation is underway.
The deceased were identified as 55-year-old Siraj, his 40-year-old wife, and their children: 11-year-old Harirah, 9-year-old Hanaya, 4-year-old Hasnain, and 3-year-old Minhal.
