The body of police constable Nazimullah, who was abducted a day earlier, has been recovered in Bajaur District. According to police, militants martyred Constable Nazimullah after abducting him.

Police said the body was found in the mountainous border region between Bajaur District and Mohmand District, from where it was shifted with the help of local residents.

According to police, the constable was subjected to severe torture before being shot dead.

Sources said Constable Nazimullah was deployed at the Sand Gharah post of Barang Police Station and had gone missing while heading for duty the previous day.

Police further stated that the body has been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem and legal formalities, while further investigation into the incident is underway.
