A police encounter in Peshawar's Badhber area last night resulted in the deaths of a suspect and his wife. Following the incident, the victims' relatives staged a protest by placing the bodies on Scheme Chowk, blocking the main Kohat Road.
The grieving family accused the police of forcibly entering their home and opening fire, leading to the deaths of the husband and wife. The protest caused significant disruption, with traffic on Kohat Road coming to a standstill, creating difficulties for commuters, and residents.

On the other hand, police claimed that one of the deceased was a wanted criminal who died in his home due to his hand grenade. The police insisted that the operation was lawful and that the deaths occurred during the suspect's resistance.
Ziaullah, the DSP Rahman Baba Circle, and local police are present at the scene, engaging in negotiations with the family members and community elders. Authorities hope to reopen the road to traffic soon.
