In Khyber District’s Bara Tehsil, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Afridi, has taken strict notice of the police firing incident during a protest against a drone attack in the Aka Khel area and has ordered an immediate and transparent inquiry.
The Chief Minister directed that the incident be investigated from all angles and that those responsible be dealt with strictly in accordance with the law.
Meanwhile, security sources claim that militants were involved behind the drone attack in Aka Khel, Bara.
According to sources, during a security operation, when militants were being encircled, they used a quadcopter to divert the attention of the forces and targeted a civilian population, attacking a local house.

Security officials further stated that the injured were immediately shifted by security forces to the Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North hospital, where they are receiving medical treatment.
It is worth mentioning that a day earlier, a suspected drone attack in Aka Khel Karapa, Bara Tehsil, killed a 12-year-old girl and injured six others, including women and children, who were shifted to hospital.
Following the incident, a large number of people gathered and protested, during which police allegedly opened fire.
