Two separate murder cases were reported in Nowshera, with police launching investigations and efforts to arrest the suspects.

In the jurisdiction of Nowshera Kalan Police Station, a man allegedly shot and killed his pregnant wife, Shehnaz Bibi, on suspicion that she was talking on a mobile phone. The suspect fled the scene after the incident.

The victim's body was shifted to Qazi Hussain Ahmad Medical Complex, Nowshera, for a post-mortem examination. Following the autopsy, a case was registered against the husband on the complaint of the victim's brother, Iftikhar Ali.

In a separate incident within the limits of Akora Khattak Police Station, an elder brother allegedly shot dead his younger brother, Shayan Hussain, over a property dispute. The suspect also escaped after the shooting.

The deceased's body was taken to the District Headquarters Hospital, Nowshera, for a post-mortem examination. Later, a murder case was registered against the accused son on the complaint of the victim's father.

Police have registered cases in both incidents and launched operations to arrest the suspects.
