
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police have recovered two bullet-riddled bodies here from agriculture fields in Sarband area of the provincial capital on Monday.
According to the police sources the local people have informed them about the presence of dead bodies in the agriculture fields in Haji Banda village near Achini. They added that a police party was sent to crime spot to take the dead bodies into custody and start the investigation process.
The police officials informed that the initial investigation shows that both persons died after being fired in the head by unknown men.
Victims were identified as Wasim Khan, a resident of Palosi Peshawar and Aziz Khan of Landikotal, Khyber district. Police said that the bodies were shifted to hospital for autopsy while a case has been registered in Sarband police station and further investigations are underway.
32 children injured in road accident in Mardan
MARDAN: A total of 32 school children were injured in road accident here in Shaikh Maltun area of district Mardan on Monday. The rescue 1122 emergency services have informed that the accident occurred due to over speeding however, further investigation is underway.
The rescue 1122 team reached the spot and provided first aid to the injured children. The injured children were shifted to district headquarter hospital where two children are stated to be in critical conditions. The accident occurred when a pickup, carrying school children, collided with a motor car in Shaikh Maltun Town area.
Police have registered a case and started further investigation into the case.
Unknown person gunned down man in Pandyalai
MOHMAND: Unknown persons have gunned down a man in Mulagori area of Pandiyalai in District Mohmand. The security official identified the victim as 45-year-old Mumtaz son of Ali Khan. The assailants after committing the crime made their escape good from the crime spot. Security forces are conducted for further investigation.
