CHITRAL, May 12: The staff of Mastung Police Station is working at home of tehsildar because there is no building for the police station for the last many years.
An official of the police station told TNN that the run-down building of the police station had collapsed four years ago, and it could not be reconstructed till now.
The elected member of provincial assembly from Chitral, Syed Sardar Hussain, said, “I have already talked to concerned authorities and I have also requested inspector general police, chief minister, home minister and other authorities to reconstruct this police station. Let us see what happens,”
The police station is situated on the route, which is used by tourists to reach Shandoor of Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan.
