BANNU, July 1: A policeman and several internally displaced persons (IDPs) were injured in a clash in Bannu.
The police say the clash took place during confirmation of tokens for distribution of food items at a camp in the Ziad Akram Durrani Sports Complex.
The IDPs started throwing stones on the policemen, injuring one of them. Local residents said the police resorted to baton-charge, injuring several IDPs.
