BANNU, August 28: Unidentified armed men have shot dead a policeman in Bannu district.
The police say the Elite Force personnel came home in Mirakhel area on holidays. On 27 August, he was shot dead when he left home.
Two suspects arrested: Meanwhile, security forces have arrested two suspects in a search operation in the limits of the Bannu Township Police Station.
Administration officials said they raided food distribution centre of IDPs at Commerce College after getting informed about the presence of militants there.
Mr Nowhsad and Mr Danish tried to escape on motorcycles when security forces opened fire on them and captured both of them. Mr Nowshad sustained injuries in the firing.
