BATTAGRAM, July 2: Prices of food items have hiked with the start of the holy month of Ramazan in Battagram.
Local residents told TNN that shopkeepers and traders rejected the government rates of food items, like vegetables, fruit and other items.
They say traders have started overcharging consumers in the area. Several people told TNN that the district administration did not take any step to control inflation in their area.
Relevant officials were not available for comment over the issue.
