PESHAWAR, June 29: The district administration of Peshawar has increased the prices of milk and yogurt by 5 rupees per kilogram.
After hike in prices, the price of 1kg milk is 75 rupees and that of yogurt is 60 rupees. The decision about prices was taken at a joint meeting of milkmen union and administration of Peshawar district.
The meeting also decided to take action against those who do not follow the prices fixed and overcharge consumers.
Meanwhile, local residents say the inflation has increased with advent of the holy month of Ramazan.
