PTI rally

PESHAWAR, September 22: The Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, Mr Imran Khan, has told his party’s rally in Karachi that all ethnic groups in the port city were used and exploited for political reasons and said his PTI would unite all the ethnic groups and give them real identity if voted to power.

Addressing a public meeting outside the mausoleum of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, father of the nation, Mr Khan said he had resolved to ensure that Prime Minister Mr Nawaz Sharif resigns.

He also announced to stage public rallies in Lahore. Mr Khan alleged the government had harassed and arrested his party workers to foil their protest.

Meanwhile, Federal Information Minister Mr Pervez Rashid has said the PTI’s rally had the support of Muttahida Qaumi Movement in Karachi and that Mr Imran Khan went to Karachi because his rally failed in Islamabad.
