LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved the extension of the Honhaar Scholarship scheme to students from other provinces, ensuring equal educational opportunities beyond Punjab.
Announcing the decision, Maryam Nawaz stated that the number of laptops for students in Punjab has been increased to 110,000. She emphasized that both the Honhaar Scholarship and the laptop scheme are the rights of students from all provinces.

"Students from Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are also our children. The same eligibility criteria set for Punjab will apply to students from other provinces," she said.
Maryam Nawaz further assured that any student meeting the merit criteria will secure admission to a quality college, with the Punjab government covering their tuition fees. "We aim to transform the future of every child," she added.
