The Meteorological Department has forecast rain with thunderstorms across most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while some areas are expected to remain cloudy over the next few days.
According to the department, districts including Chitral, Upper and Lower Dir, Swat, Bajaur, Malakand, Shangla, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Kohistan, Torghar, Battagram, and Haripur are likely to experience rain accompanied by thunderstorms, with snowfall expected on higher mountains.

Additionally, scattered rain with thunderstorms is also predicted in Swabi, Mardan, Charsadda, Peshawar, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, and North and South Waziristan.
Over the past 24 hours, rainfall has been recorded in most districts of the province, leading to a temperature drop. While the upper regions have witnessed an increase in cold intensity, the plains have experienced a refreshing change in weather.
