The intense heat is about to break as the Meteorological Department has predicted rain in most of the upper regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Meteorological Department, rain accompanied by wind and thundershowers is expected in Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Kurram, and Waziristan.

Additionally, Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Charsadda, Kohat, Hangu, and Karak are also likely to receive rain. Rain is also forecasted for Dera Ismail Khan, Lakki Marwat, Tank, Mohmand, Khyber, and Orakzai.
The weather will remain hot and dry in most districts of Balochistan and Sindh, while the coastal areas of Sindh will experience hot and humid conditions. In Punjab, most cities are likely to see rain.
