The meteorological department has forecasted rain for most areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar.

Detailed predictions indicate that thundershowers and gusty winds are expected in several districts, namely Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Battagram, Torghar, Kohistan, Shangla, Swat, Malakand, Upper and Lower Dir, Buner, Bajaur, Swabi, Mardan, Nowshera, Mohmand, Peshawar, Charsadda, Khyber, Kurram, Orakzai, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Chitral, Tank, DI Khan, and North and South Waziristan.
