PESHAWAR, May 12: Registration of the internally displaced persons of Tirah valley, Khyber Agency, has resumed at the Tehmas Khan Football Stadium in the provincial capital Peshawar.
The registration at the football stadium had stopped yesterday when a suicide bomber attacked the venue, killing five people and injuring nine others.
Administration officials said that after the incident, the bomb disposal squad inspected the ground and declared it to be clear.
Thousands of families have been displaced from the tribal areas because of military operations against the Taliban. These families are given food ration and a small cash amount after their registration at various relief camps.
