Repatriation of North Waziristan Displaced Families from Afghanistan Starts

North Waziristan: The process of repatriation of those affected by the situation in Afghanistan has begun. At the Ghulam Khan border, a convoy of 30 families from Khost reached their homeland.

On this occasion, Minister of Relief Iqbal Wazir, Deputy Commissioner of North Waziristan Shahid Ali Khan, military officials, and tribal elders welcomed the affected people.

Talking to the media in this regard, Deputy Commissioner of North Waziristan Shahid Ali Khan said that all the affected people are being brought back in the final phase, for whose return excellent arrangements have been made.

According to the Deputy Commissioner, the returning affected people are being temporarily settled in Bannu, Lakki Marwat, and D.I. Khan. The process of repatriation of the affected people is being supervised by Tehsildar Ghulam Khan Ghani-ur-Rehman and will be completed soon.
