MARDAN, July 21: Residents of Chaman area in Mardan district have protested excessive loadshedding and out-of-order electricity transformers.
The protestors told TNN that power loadshedding had led to shortage of water in the area for residential usage and in mosques. They accused authorities of using substandard material in transformers, due to which the electric devices trip repeatedly.
Meanwhile, the local municipal administration has provided people with water tankers on urgent basis, which have solved the water deficiency problem temporarily.
