Four people were killed when a rickshaw carrying them plunged into a deep ravine in the Shah Gai Dusrakai area of Ali Masjid in Khyber district’s Jamrud tehsil.
According to details, the accident occurred within the jurisdiction of Ali Masjid Police Station. Sources said the victims had travelled to Jamrud to attend a programme and worked as traditional drum players.
After attending the programme, they were returning to Peshawar in a rickshaw when, due to darkness, the vehicle went out of control and fell into a deep ravine at Shah Gai Dusrakai.

All four passengers died on the spot. The victims were reportedly residents of Shaqbol area of Peshawar.
Following the accident, the bodies were shifted to Jamrud Civil Hospital, where the families arrived and identified their loved ones. After completion of the necessary legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to the families.
