PESHAWAR: A worker lost his life while two others sustained injuries when the roof of a mill collapsed on their heads here in Daudzai within the jurisdiction of Daudzai Police station on Thursday, said Rescue1122.
The rescue 1122 emergency service of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has further informed that roof of the mill caved-in while the workers were busy in demolishing this dilapidated structure. As a result three laborers were buried under the debris.
The Rescue 1122 team conducted rescue operation and after two hours, they recovered the three labourers, however, one of the victims – identified as Naseer Khan – succumbed to his injuries. The two injured labourers have been shifted to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) in Rescue 1122 ambulance.
Two Suspects held In Peshawar
PESHAWAR: While sharing details of the operation in Shaikhan area of the provincial capital, Peshawar police have informed that two suspected were arrested on Thursday.
The police officials further informed that Khazana police station has conducted a search operation after they received secret information about the presence anti-state element in the area. The suspects were shifted to an unknown location for further investigation.
The Khazana police further informed that five accused involved in different street crimes were also overpowered. Similarly, action was taken against seven persons for incomplete documents while living on rent. Police said that cases have been registered and further investigation is underway.
One dies in firing incident
PESHAWAR: A person was shot killed here on Charsadda road, near the graveyard, said the Rescue 1122 officials on Thursday. Bilal Ahmad Faizi, spokesperson of the Rescue 1122 said that they were informed about firing incident after which Rescue ambulance rushed to the crime spot.
Faizi added that when the ambulance reached the crime spot, they found a bullet-riddled dead body. The identification of the dead body has not yet been made. It was shifted to morgue. Police are conducted further investigation into the case.
