
KOHAT, June 01: A natural gas project has been completed in Bazidkhel area of Kohat district at a cost of 35 million rupees.
The Federal Minister of Textile, Mr Abbas Khan Afridi, inaugurated project on 1 June. His brother Amjad Afridi, who is an advisor of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister, also participated in the inauguration ceremony.
Mr Afridi said the gas facility would be provided to all other villages of the area. A local resident told TNN, “We were in trouble as we used to bring wood for use as fuel from faraway places. But now this project will solve our problem, for which we are thankful to Amjad Afridi.”
