KHAR, May 7: The USAID distributed scholarships and mobile phones among 170 students affected by military operation in Bajaur Agency.
A ceremony was held in agency headquarters Khar where Political Tehsildar Umar Syed distributed mobile phones and sim cards among students.
Associate Director of USAID, Hameed-ur-Rehman, said that they would send the scholarship amount up to 30,000 rupees soon.
He added that they would provide more scholarships to the students after six months.
