The Meteorological Department has forecast hot and dry weather across most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with plains expected to remain under intense heat.
According to the latest advisory, daytime temperatures are likely to remain 5 to 7°C above normal levels. However, there is a possibility of isolated rainfall accompanied by gusty winds and thunderstorms in parts of Chitral, Upper Dir, and Swat over the next 24 hours.

In Peshawar, the minimum temperature was recorded at 24°C, while the maximum is expected to reach up to 45°C. The humidity level in the city was recorded at 28 percent.
The lowest temperature in the province was recorded in Kalam at 14°C and in Dir at 16°C. Meanwhile, the hottest areas are forecast to be Dera Ismail Khan, where the mercury may rise to 49°C, and Bannu, where temperatures could hit 48°C.
