Search for Missing Child Enters Fourth Day After Swat River Tragedy

According to rescue officials, 12 bodies have been recovered so far, while four individuals were rescued alive.

Rescue teams continued their operation for the fourth consecutive day on Monday to locate a missing child who drowned in the Swat River, following a tragic incident in which 17 people were swept away four days ago.

According to rescue officials, 12 bodies have been recovered so far, while four individuals were rescued alive. 

One child remains missing, and search operations, supported by local divers, are ongoing at multiple points along the river.

Meanwhile, district authorities have launched a large-scale anti-encroachment operation along the Swat River banks, which entered its second day. 

After clearing areas around the Mingora Bypass, officials have announced that the drive will now expand to the Fizagat side as well.
