Security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa neutralized eight militants during two separate operations, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
An intelligence-based operation in the Tank district resulted in the elimination of six terrorists. Meanwhile, in a separate operation in the Tirah Valley of Khyber district, two militants were taken down. The military's spokesperson confirmed that a clearance operation is ongoing to eliminate any remaining militants in the areas.
27 Militants Killed in Balochistan Operation
Separately, security forces in Balochistan conducted an intelligence-based operation yesterday, killing 27 militants. According to ISPR, the forces surrounded the militants' hideout, leading to an intense exchange of gunfire, during which 27 terrorists were neutralized.

The operation also destroyed the militants' hideout, along with their weapons and ammunition. ISPR stated that the militants were involved in terrorist activities against security forces and civilians and were on the wanted list of law enforcement agencies.
The military reaffirmed its commitment to thwarting any attempts to disrupt peace, stability, and progress in Balochistan.
