The purpose of arranging the seminar was to create investment opportunities in the livestock sector.
Provincial Finance Minister Mr Muzaffar Syed advocate and the Dean at Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Department Professor Dr Subhan Qureshi and many landlords hailing from different districts attended the moot yesterday.
On the occasion, the organisers said the production of meat in the province was necessary and that it has much demand in the Central Asia. They said the meat production can earn foreign exchange for the country.
Project Director Dr. Islam explained that around 230 dairy farms had been set up in the province, and that the landlords should take full advantage out of it.
“The main objective of the seminar is to seek out trade opportunities in the livestock sector, so that other people may also get into the sector and find jobs for themselves. In this way, people will meet each other and will be able to benefit from the experience of their colleagues. Our goods are really preferred worldwide. If we strive to bring up our cattle as per their standards, our landlords will be able to earn even more.”
