MANSEHRA, June 13: A seminar on plagiarism was held at the Hazara University for research students and teachers.
The main purpose of the seminar, organised by the university’s Academic Staff Association, was to discourage plagiarism.
Addressing the participants, Assistant Professor Dr Muhammad Ilyas of the Education Department asked research scholars to keep research techniques and ways updated and that they must never copy someone else’s material in their research.
“An original research is of best quality,” he added.
Director of the university’s Quality Enhancement Cell, Dr Sohal Farooq, briefed the participants about how to arrange a research properly and how to write a proper thesis.
