PESHAWAR, October 3: Seven more polio cases have been reported in Pakistan, raising the number of cases to 194 in the country this year.
The National Institute of Health says two children have been affected by polio in Peshawar, two in Khyber Agency, one in North Waziristan Agency, one in Mardan district and one case has been reported from Karachi, Sindh province.
Of the total polio cases reported this year in Pakistan, 134 cases have surfaced in the tribal areas and 35 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
