PESHAWAR, July 21: The Pakistan Swimming Federation and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Swimming Association have banned seven swimmers and a coach because of their fake documents.
According to a joint statement from the associations, swimmers Mr Muhammad Naveed, Mr Afaq Ahmad, Mr Junaid, Mr Asif Ali, Mr Arsalan, Mr Adil and Mr Muhammad Bilal have been banned from participation in competitions and events for three years while coach Khalid Raheem has been banned for two years.
The Federation has also announced to reclaim the awards, which had been won by the swimmers in year 2010, 2011 and 2012.
