Security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, destroying multiple terrorist hideouts and killing several militants.

According to security sources, weapons, ammunition, and other equipment were recovered from the slain militants.

The sources said several militants belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij were also injured during the operation, adding that intelligence-based operations are continuing in different parts of the province.
