Former Pakistan cricket captain and Chairman of Shahid Afridi Foundation, Shahid Khan Afridi, visited the Bar Qambar Khel area of Bara tehsil in Khyber district, where he met with local elders and youth and distributed gifts among orphaned and underprivileged students.

According to details, Shahid Afridi distributed shoes and school bags among around 200 orphaned and needy children. Parents, children, and local elders appreciated his humanitarian gesture.

Addressing the gathering, Afridi said that the people of Khyber district, particularly those in Bara tehsil, have long suffered from unrest and a lack of basic facilities such as education, healthcare, and clean drinking water.

He added that the Shahid Afridi Foundation is actively working to support public welfare, education, and healthcare, as well as providing assistance to orphaned and destitute children.

“It is my good fortune that Allah Almighty has blessed me with the opportunity to serve humanity, and I will continue to support orphaned and underprivileged children of this region in every possible way,” Afridi said.
