MARDAN, September 4: Unidentified people have killed a Sikh in Mardan, the police say.
Amarjeet Singh was at his shop in Shaheedani Market when the unidentified men attacked him with a knife and killed him on the spot.
The accused escaped from the scene after the incident.
In a similar incident a month ago, unidentified gunmen in Peshawar opened fire on several members of the Sikh community, killing two of them. The Sikh community later staged protests and demanded the government protect them.
