PESHAWAR, July 23: Senior Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr Sirajul Haq, has resigned his office.
Mr Sirajul Haq, who also had portfolio of finance, said he had forwarded his resignation to the chief minister, arguing that he wanted to give more time to his political party Jamaat-e-Islami, which he heads in Pakistan.
Sources said that after the resignation of Sirajul Haq, the portfolio of senior ministry is likely to be handed over to another lawmaker of the Jamaat-e-Islami and incumbent Provincial Minister of Local Bodies Inayatullah.
