TOR GHAR, November 6: The education department has sacked six female schoolteachers and a watchman for not carrying out their duties.
Ms Faiza Shafi, the education officer, says the schoolteachers from various primary schools, and watchman Mr Mewa Khan used to be absent from duties without informing the administration for the last two years.
They were issued the show-cause notices several times but they did not pay heed to it. Hence, the department terminated their services.
