A woman allegedly shot and killed her husband while he was asleep in a shocking incident that took place in Mian Khan area of Katlang, Mardan district.
According to police sources, the victim, Zubair Khan, was a police constable who had returned home on leave. During the night, his wife opened fire on him with a pistol while he was sleeping, killing him on the spot.

The chilling act is believed to have stemmed from ongoing domestic disputes between the couple. Zubair’s brother has filed a case against his sister-in-law, accusing her of murder.
Police swiftly arrested the woman and recovered the murder weapon from her possession. Further investigation is underway.
