Social Media Activist and Sister Attacked in Peshawar: One in Critical Condition

An FIR has been filed against unidentified assailants, and the police have launched an investigation into the attempted murder.

A violent attack occurred on Peshawar's Dalazak Road, targeting social media activist Samina Naz, her mother, and her sister Nihal Tabassum. Both Samina Naz and her sister were severely injured in the attack, while their mother remained unharmed.

The injured sisters were quickly taken to Lady Reading Hospital, where Samina Naz's condition was reported as stable. However, Nihal Tabassum, who sustained serious injuries, is currently receiving treatment in the hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Nihal Tabassum is employed as an assistant at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority.
