

CHITRAL, July 25: A state-run organisation, Child Protection Unit, has distributed stationery among 80 deserving children in Chitral district.
On 24 July, a ceremony was held at Social Welfare Office where school kits were distributed among the students of Arkari, Garam Chashma, Bakar Abad and other areas.
On the occasion, Social Welfare Officer Mr Hashmat Yar also distributed cash grants among several disabled children.
Some of the children who got the items told TNN that they would wear the new school uniforms on Eid day.
“We thank the child rights organisaiton for providing us clothes and stationery because we can’t afford to buy these things from the market,” said father of a student.
