Haripur: Following the recent monsoon rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the water level in Tarbela Dam has been rising steadily as inflows from the upper catchment areas continue to increase.

According to the dam administration, the current water level at Tarbela Dam stands at 1,493.70 feet, which is 91 feet above the dead level. 

The dam's dead level is 1,402 feet, while its maximum conservation level is 1,550 feet.

Today, the dam recorded an inflow of 213,700 cusecs and an outflow of 159,300 cusecs.

All 17 power generation units at Tarbela Dam are currently operational. The dam has a total installed power generation capacity of 4,980 megawatts, and it is currently supplying 4,558 megawatts of electricity to the national grid.
