KUNDUZ: A suicide bombing outside Kabul Bank in Kunduz has killed 17 people and left dozens injured, local officials confirmed.
According to initial reports, the explosion targeted Taliban personnel who had gathered at the bank to collect their salaries.
Foreign media quoted Juma Khan Khaksar, the Taliban police chief, as saying that the blast was a suicide attack aimed at Taliban officials. The explosion occurred as Taliban members were waiting outside the bank.

Following the attack, security forces cordoned off the area, and rescue teams transported the dead and injured to hospitals.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
