ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court's constitutional bench has sought a detailed response from the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) within two weeks regarding voting rights for overseas Pakistanis.
A five-member constitutional bench, headed by Justice Aminuddin Khan, heard the case and directed both NADRA and the ECP to submit details of the measures taken to facilitate voting for Pakistanis living abroad.

The case was filed in the Supreme Court by PTI founder and Sheikh Rashid, advocating for voting rights for overseas Pakistanis. Additionally, lawyer Dawood Ghaznavi has also filed a petition on the matter.
