BATTAGRAM, July 7: The male and female employees, suspended by the Health Department in Battagram district, have protested the move as they say their degrees are genuine.
“We are ready to face any punishment if our degrees were proved as bogus,” stated one of the employees at a rally.
The protesters said the administration suspended them to cover up their corruption. The Health Department of Battagram suspended 35 employees over reports of fake degrees.
One of the protesters told TNN, “The management has already verified out degrees but still they suspended us. Why the administration suspended the Class-IV employees, who don’t need any degrees.”
“If our appointments were unlawful, then the recruitment committee has violated the law and that should be held responsible. Why action was taken against poor low-grade employees?” said another demonstrator.
