Three women drowned in the Swat River near Pul Chowki Fishing Hut in Malakand. One of them died, while another was rescued in an unconscious condition.

According to Rescue 1122, local residents and rescue personnel managed to pull one woman out of the river. She was unconscious and was provided first aid before being shifted to the DHQ Hospital.

The body of the second woman was recovered from the Badwan Tarai area and transported to the hospital by a Rescue 1122 ambulance. Meanwhile, a search operation is underway to locate the third missing woman.

Rescue officials said that all three women belonged to the same family and were residents of Mardan district. Rescue teams continue to search the Swat River for the missing woman.
