PESHAWAR, June 30: The provincial government has established tuberculosis (TB) diagnosis centres for internally displaced persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan at camps in Bannu, Lakki Marwat and DI Khan districts.

The centres were set up by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa TB Control Programme. The coordinator of Peshawar TB Control Programme, Doctor Israr, said that free medicines had been provided to all centers. He added TB patients would be given free medication.

A few days ago, the provincial government had decided to start anti-polio campaign for children of North Waziristan IDPs.
