DIR, October 1: Three people, including a woman and a child, died and one injured when a van fell into a ravine in Upper Dir district.
The police say the driver lost control over the steering while crossing a sharp turn and the vehicle plunged into a gorge in Dooba area.
Three people died in the incident, while the injured was taken to a local hospital.
Upper Dir district, which borders Chitral valley, is a mountainous area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and such accidents take place often on the hilly roads.
